What is the sacrifice of praise (Jeremiah 33:11)? It is a perpetual thank offering to the God of Israel from our heart with our lips praising Him (Hebrews 13:15) for who He is and because He is King over the universe and reigns for all eternity. Our thank offering is to be of our own free will and it is meant to be a lifestyle rather than a once in a while event. It should be done daily. We are to thank the God of Israel for His blessings to us. It can be done through prayer or with a song. We are to enter the presence of the God of Israel with a heart attitude of joy, thanksgiving and praise. The thank offering is associated with restoration, consecration and sanctification. A thank offering heals a wounded heart triggered by trials and tribulations which come into our lives which might cause us to get offended at the God of Israel because of a tragic event or because we are overwhelmed with our current circumstances. In this situation, a thank offering declares and accepts the sovereignty of the God of Israel over the events in our lives because He is the potter and we are the clay.
