DVD: The Holy Spirit in the Torah / Prophets and NT
- Description
Most Christians usually identify the Holy Spirit with the New Testament. However, the Holy Spirit has been from the beginning. This teaching will show the role of the Holy Spirit throughout the entire Bible. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Torah and the Spirit of Yeshua. Yeshua is truth (John 14:6). The Torah is truth (Psalm 119:142). The Holy Spirit is truth (John 16:13). Therefore, Yeshua, the Torah and the Holy Spirit are one. We are to follow the Torah through the help, guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The new covenant is the Torah written upon our heart through the indwelling Holy Spirit (Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 36:26-27). The Holy Spirit was present in creation. The Holy Spirit gives dreams and visions. Through the Holy Spirit comes the laying on of hands, prophecy, the power of God and the anointing. There are seven spirits of God. In Isaiah 11:2, it speaks of: the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord. Through the Holy Spirit is the casting out of demons, the healing of the sick and signs, wonders and miracles. There are gifts of the Holy Spirit as well as the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The greatest fruit of the Holy Spirit is love.
