The Biblical name for the feast of Trumpets is Yom Teruah which means in Hebrew, "the day of the awakening blast". The feast of Trumpets is commonly called in Judaism, Rosh HaShanah which means, "the head of the year". The themes of the feast of Trumpets are: the season of repentance (teshuvah), Rosh HaShanah, Yom Teruah, Yom HaDin (the day of judgment), Yom HaZikkaron (the day of remembrance), HaMelech (the coronation day), Yamim Nora'im (the days of awe), Yom HaKiseh (the hidden day), the opening of the gates of heaven, the last trump and the resurrection of the dead. The spiritual meaning of all these themes will be explained. The resurrection of the dead (rapture) is for the purpose of going to the wedding supper of the Lamb.
